Privacy Policy
Here is what personal information On Cue Apparel gathers, what we do with it, which parties it goes to and the choices open to you.
What we collect
- Order details
- Your name, email, shipping address and billing address, any phone number you add, and the items you buy.
- Payment details
- PayPal processes these. Our servers never receive or keep full card numbers.
- Messages
- Anything you write in an email to us or in the contact form.
- Device and usage data
- Recorded automatically while you browse: cookie identifiers, your IP address, the type of browser and device, and the pages you open.
What we use it for
Order information lets us make and deliver your order, support you with it and send you updates on its status. Beyond that, we use data to reply to messages, stop fraud, keep the website secure and see which pages help visitors. Only people who opted in receive marketing emails, and each one carries an unsubscribe link.
Who we share it with
To make and deliver the order, our print partner and the carrier get the recipient’s name, the delivery address and what the order contains. Other providers work for us on payments, website hosting, email delivery and analytics; they are allowed to use the information only to carry out that work. No one buys personal information from us; we do not sell it for money.
Cookies
Some cookies are essential: without them the cart and checkout stop working. Analytics and advertising cookies tell us which pages are visited, where visitors came from and how well our ads work. Blocking or deleting cookies is possible in your browser settings; checkout, however, cannot run without the essential ones.
Security and storage periods
Every page of the site is served over HTTPS. Order records are visible only to team members whose work requires them. We hold information while orders, claims, tax records and other legal duties call for it; after that we delete it or strip out the details that identify you.
Your choices
Write to [email protected] to stop marketing emails or to ask about the information we hold. The site is meant for adults, it is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly gather information from children.
Privacy rights in U.S. states
Laws in a growing number of U.S. states grant residents rights over their personal information. Which rights you have depends on your state; they can include the right to:
- Know and access what personal information we have about you, and get a copy of it.
- Correct inaccurate information about you.
- Delete your personal information, apart from records the law requires us to retain, tax records for example.
- Opt out of targeted advertising, and opt out of your personal information being sold or shared. Certain state laws classify advertising cookies as a form of sharing or of targeted advertising.
Making a request. Send an email to [email protected] with “Privacy request” as the subject and say what you want us to do. To confirm the request is yours, we check details you supply, for example an order’s email address and order number, against our records. An authorized agent may act for you if they hold your signed permission. We answer within the period your state’s law sets, and exercising these rights will not change the prices you pay or the service you get.
Appeals. When we turn down a request, you may appeal simply by answering our decision email. We look at the appeal again and send our conclusion in writing. If the outcome still leaves you unhappy, you can raise it with your state’s attorney general.
